Event description
An insight into the Realities in Rural Digital Transformation; what's happening, what should be happening and what needs to happen and how.

About this event

Charles Sellers, Innovation and Technology Group and Sphere Network co-founder, will be joined by Nick Devitt and Liz Gray from the Rural Design Centre Innovation Project and Lois Brentnall from Advance Northumberland providing an insight into how they are on a mission to transform how innovation is supported and encouraged in rural communities.

For example, did you know that there are over 350 households in Northumberland who can't access the electricity grid, which causes untold issues with education, employment and lifestyle?

Did you know that the Rural Design Centre want to work with SME's based in the North of Tyne to help find effective solutions to off-grid living?

Learn more in what, how and who is instigating innovation in your region.
