Sponsored Walk

Location: Start at Dyce Station
Time: 09.45am
Next year marks 25 years since my mum (Diane Sandra Warman, née Mair) passed away following a severe asthma attack, leaving behind three young children. To honour her memory, a sponsored walk (approximately 10 miles) is being held on Saturday 14th June 2025. This will be an opportunity to get together to remember her, enjoy the outdoors, and also raise money for charity. My mum was a chronic asthma sufferer for a lot of her life and for this reason, all donations are going to Asthma and Allergy Foundation - a charity that provides evidence-based health information, confidential advice, and support to people with asthma, their families, and carers across Scotland.
Plan:
- Meet at Dyce Station for 9.45am
- Head off at 10.00am
- Walk from Dyce Station to Newmachar
- Picnic / refreshments stop at Newmachar (please bring your own picnic and water etc)
- Walk from Newmachar back to Dyce Station
I appreciate people may not have money to spare on the run up to Christmas so I will be sharing the JustGiving page for donations after the festive period. In the meantime, it would mean a lot if you could join me on the day, even if you can only manage some of the journey - click "Reserve a spot".
