Welcome to ARTsCOOL!
Parents and carers are free to drop off or stay.
The class focuses on exploring the mexican festival 'Day of the Dead' by creating colourful painted skulls embellished with handmade paper flowers. Children will be encouraged to explore a variety of paper manipulation techniques to embelish their skulls .
Children will have the chance to make more than one piece of art. When they have finished their work, they can continue to create on our 'ARTsCOOL big draw wall' - this session will have a ‘Day of the Dead’ theme.
Important information:
The class is run by insured DBS checked qualified art teachers and a first aider will be present.
The class is aimed at children in the age range 4-11. Children younger than 4 cannot attend even with a sibling.
As we are an Art school children are likely to get messy. Although we provide aprons we ask that children wear old clothing that you do not mind getting spoilt.
Please bring a drink and avoid sending snacks so that we can assure the safety of all children attending.
Parents are free drop off but we ask that you stay nearby and collect at the end of the session. Alternatively, if you would prefer to stay there is space for you to relax or work.
The location is the Servite Parish Centre on Cavendish Road M7 4 WP . This is located directly behind Our Lady of Dolours Church on Bury New Road (near Lidl). Parking is on the street, please do not park across driveways of residents on the road.
Once your booking has been confirmed, one of our team will be in touch for you to complete a short form to provide us with medical and photography consent.
