About this event

Here’s another Award-Winning Course from Explore the Great Outdoors, Winners of the Best Woodland Courses 2019.

During your time spent with us you will learn how to carve a spoon the Scandinavian way.

Your tutors will pass on the knowledge they have gained from their time spent studying the art of spoon carving with the world-famous Swedish master craftsman Jögge Sundqvist.

This course runs from our semi ancient woodland site near Warminster from 9.30am to 4.30pm with a half hour break for lunch.

Minimum age is 18, younger students are allowed by prior arrangement please call us to discuss.

The kettle will be on throughout the day for you to enjoy a cuppa (a selection of teas & coffees will be provided plus biscuits all individually wrapped).

We are based in the Southwest of England in easy reach from Bristol, Bath, Salisbury, Southampton, Chippenham, Swindon, and London.

What our clients say:

"Fantastic day, lovely people, really knowledgeable and friendly instruction and simply perfect location.

This was more than you could write to describe the course and how enjoyable the whole experience was.

Much more practice needed to produce a great spoon but the instruction and what we took away from the day was such that we'll keep trying and have confidence that we will achieve something we're proud of!"

Thanks so much to Jacqui and Pete Adam
