About this event

  • Event lasts 7 hours 15 minutes

You are all invited to attend the Sport & Discrimination Workshop later this year. As the schedule shows (see below), this event is very much interactive and designed to build (and formalise) networks, exchange knowledge, and generate new ideas and projects. Although we particularly encourage attendance from Early Career Researchers (within 3 years of PhD completion), it is open to everyone to attend. Our aim is to encourage network development across all disciplines, sectors and career stages. This is a FREE event so there is no registration fee attached. Food/refreshments are included for all participants. In addition, we also have a number of bursaries for ECR’s which will cover accommodation for two nights in Besançon.

If you are an ECR, you can apply for a bursary (two nights accommodation) by submitting a 250 word summary of why you would like to attend the event. Please send this summary to Sportdisc@leedsbeckett.ac.uk by the deadline of 1 August 2025. We will confirm whether your bursary application has been successful by 8 August 2025.

Please register ASAP due to a limited number of places being available.
