The annual event – the Sport Forum – has been organized since 2019. It is hosted by the Lithuanian Sports University (LSU) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport and the Lithuanian National Olympic Committee (LNOC). The information partner is the Lithuanian national broadcaster LRT. The event is sponsored by Hummel.
The Sports Forum aims to disseminate innovations in European and global sports science, sharing the latest research findings with researchers, doctoral students, undergraduate students, and practitioners in the field of sport.
Every year, internationally recognized sports scientists and prominent sports representatives from across Europe and the world give presentations and share their experience. This year, plenary speeches will be delivered by keynote speakers from France, Croatia and Israel.
They will discuss topics relevant to the entire sports community, including the Fair Play and manipulation in sport, social networks and social capital of physical activity, genetics and competitive sports.
