Sport Resolutions Seminar: Hyperandrogenism

Sport Resolutions will be holding its final seminar of 2016, centred around the topic of Hyperandrogenism. The seminar will be taking place on Thursday the 8th of December 2016 at our office, 1 Salisbury Square in London.
Sport Resolutions will explore the medical condition of Hyperandrogenism in detail, and will review how athletes with the condition have been treated by their international federations.
The seminar aims to address the following aspects:
- In-depth understanding of the biological background to this medical condition.
- An overview of recent case law, including the significant cases of professional sprinter Dutee Chand and 2016 Olympic gold medallist Caster Semenya.
- What the future holds.
Professor Dorian Haskard
Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine | Imperial College London
Dorian Haskard is the British Heart Foundation Sir John McMichael Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine and Head of the Vascular Sciences Section within the National Heart and Lung Institute. He is also the Head of Division of Immunology and Inflammation in the Department of Medicine.
Barrister | Littleton Chambers
John is a barrister at Littleton Chambers where he is Head of the Sports Law Group. He specialises in employment, commercial and sports law disputes, being ranked by legal directories as a leading barrister in all areas of his practice. He is a member of the Sports Resolutions pro bono panel of advocates, is a Chair of the FA Chairman’s independent anti-discrimination panel and was a member of the independent review panel commissioned by UK Sport and British Cycling into the culture and climate, including allegations of discrimination and bulling, in the World Class Programme at British Cycling.
Barrister | Littleton Chambers
Lydia is an active member of the Littleton Chambers Sports law group. In line with the broader chambers specialisms Lydia’s core areas of practice are commercial law, sports law and employment law. Lydia's sports law work covers work in relation to agency fee disputes, arbitrations and disciplinary proceedings.
Head of Case Management | Sport Resolutions
Catherine is Head of Secretariat of the National Anti-Doping Panel and the National Safeguarding Panel and has overall responsibility for the case management of all matters referred to Sport Resolutions. She has a Masters in International Sports Law from ISDE (Madrid, Spain) and has substantial case management experience from working at the Federal Court of Canada and from having appeared before the Court of Arbitration for Sport on numerous occasions.

What is the refund policy?
If cancellation is notified to Sport Resolutions more than 14 days before the date of an event or, seminar, a full refund will be given. If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days in advance no refunds will be made. Delegates can transfer their ticket to a colleague at no cost.
Will there be catering provided?
Lunch will not be provided for this seminar. However, tea, coffee, biscuits and juice will be provided.
