Share Sports Engineering Seminar Day 2018

Event Details

Join a community of sports engineers, for a day of networking and get inspired to pursue a future in this innovative, growing field. Presentations throughout the day will be themed by sports apparel, biomechanics, equipment mechanics, as well as healthcare and injury prevention. Speakers are to include sports engineering academics and PhD students, as well as industry partners and special guests. Students of all disciplines, from all universities are welcome to attend the free seminar day. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. 

The presentations will take place in Geoffrey Manton Lecture Theatre 1 (GM LT1) and Lunch and Posters will be held in the downstairs open space next to the lecture theatre. The event is organised by PhD students from the School of Engineering at Manchester Metropolitan University, Loughborough University and Sheffield Hallam University.
