Aim of this Event
Join Dr James Waldron, Portfolio GP and GP educator for a 3-hour interactive and practical introduction to dermatology in primary care, designed for clinicians with little to no prior experience.
This session will provide the foundation knowledge and skills needed to confidently assess, describe, and manage common dermatological presentations, enhancing your ability and confidence in Dermatology.
Target Audience
Designed for clinicians with little to no prior experience.
Objectives
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
· *Review* the key functions of the skin and their relevance to dermatological health
· *Outline* how systemic conditions can manifest as skin presentations.
· *Explore* the fundamentals of dermatological assessment, including history taking and examination.
· *Practice* describing rashes using correct nomenclature and systematically documenting findings.
· *Apply* the ABCE approach to evaluation pigmented lesions and identify Features of concern
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel with more than 7 working days' notice, there will be no charge. If you cancel within 7 working days and we cannot fill the space, then you/your organisation will still be charged. If you do not attend then you/your organisation will be charged.
If you are leaving your organisation or you have a member of staff due to leave and you/they are booked onto a chargeable course with us, it is the organisations responsibility to inform NATH of this. This is to ensure that you/they are removed from any chargeable course with more than 7 working days before the event date and therefore will not incur any costs. If you/they are removed within 7 working days of the chargeable course then the cost of the place will be chargeable to the organisation.
