Spotlight Monologue Sessions

Prep: a 1 - 2 minute monologue or duologue

Discount: a £5 discount is available to current Spotlight members at checkout. Please note that you must have a current membership at the time of purchase and will be required to submit your profile link. Should a non-member use the discount code, the ticket will be refunded and your slot will be released.

About the Session

Come join us on Spotlight’s Studio Session day to create the perfect monologue or duologue for your profile. If you need to update or add new media to your Spotlight profile, you can book a slot on our Monologue days at the Spotlight Studios at a reduced rate to create a professionally shot monologue.

All our monologues will be professionally filmed using our Sony NX5HD Camera, with every performer close mic’d to get the best quality sound. Our expert lighting setup allows for the lights to be fully adjusted to the performers' needs. This, matched with our standard 18% grey background, creates a calm and professional environment to record any monologue.

Working with our experienced camera operators, you can record as many takes as you like within your 30 minute slot, review the footage and select your favourite takes. You’ll then receive an email with a link to view and download high-res MPEG-4 video files which you can then add directly to your Spotlight profile.

You’ll have a private studio complete with camera equipment, lighting and one of our skilled camera operators. Please bring a friend along if you need someone to read with you as we can’t always guarantee a reader!

Monologue days will be available to book on our Eventbrite page on select days between Monday and Friday, 10am to 5pm.

Things to note:

- Access requirements: Should you have any access requirements to take part in the session please contact tsevents@spotlight.com at least 7 working days prior to the event.

- Cancellation/refunds: 72 hours (3 working days) cancellation for a full refund. This must be done through the Eventbrite ticket refund process (https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/support/articles/en_US/How_To/can-i-get-a-refund?lg=en_GB)

This event is held in Spotlight's new spaces at 16 Garrick Street. The rooms are accessible from street level with a lift from the ground floor to the 3rd floor.
