This is a joint event between Homeless Link and Shelter. This event is for:
- Front-line staff and service managers working in London-based homelessness, mental health, substance use, youth services and equalities-led agencies
- Women’s sector agencies, including sexual and domestic violence services
- Priority 3 Projects (addressing poverty through employment commissions)
- London-based housing providers
- Landlords
- Borough officers
- Grants/Leaders’ Committee members
Event Aims
- To increase knowledge of how long-term alcohol users are being supported
- To improve good practice when supporting people who are homeless and using alcohol
- To improve networking opportunities between the substance use and homelessness sectors
- To hear about new Government initiatives to support people whose lives have been affected by alcohol use

The Pan-London Umbrella Support (PLUS) Project provides free support to frontline homelessness services in London. The project is funded by London Councils and delivered by Homeless Link and Shelter. The aim of the project is to improve services for people who ar homeless or at risk.
