Event description

Description

Dundee TSI are delighted to be running further sessions of the hugely successful training on an 'Introduction to Dementia' delivered by Age Scotland.

This training is for both older volunteers and staff from organisations who work with or for older people. Each session will be adapted to suits the needs of the group but will help you to identify the first stages of dementia and how to work with people who have dementia.

Training will be running on the following dates and times:

  • Thursday 22nd March at 10am – 12.30pm

  • Thursday 22nd March at 2pm - 4.30pm

  • Tuesday 27th March at 10am - 12.30pm

  • Thursday 5th April at 2pm - 4.30pm

We have added a final new date:

  • Wednesday 9th May at 10am - 12.30pm

All sessions will take place at the offices of Dundee Voluntary Action: Number Ten, 10 Constitution Road, Dundee, DD1 1LL.

Please note that spaces are limited so book early to avoid disapointment. This training is free and due to these being the final dates available and the level of demand received to attend the previous sessions, a small non-attendance fee may need to be applied to organisations, if you do not cancel in advance of the session.

For more information or to book a place, please contact Nicola Mitchell, Older Peoples Services Development Officer for Dundee Voluntary Action on nicolamitchell@dva.scot or by telephoning 01382 305745.
