About the SpeakerAbby McCarthy is a Highly Specialist Physiotherapist in Orthopaedic Oncology, with 18 years’ experience in the field and 4 years in palliative care. She currently works in a clinic setting, carrying out sarcoma surveillance and ensuring the holistic needs of patients are met. Abby has a particular passion for rehabilitation following surgical resection and reconstruction, with special expertise in complex spinal and pelvic surgery. Her breadth of knowledge and experience offers unique insight into the challenges faced by patients and clinicians in sarcoma care.
