SOPHIE ABBOTT is an experimental painter who paints spontaneously as a reaction to the environment she finds herself in. She creates colour drenched semi-abstract landscapes that capture the essence of a time and place. Her work is concerned with the vibrancy and atmosphere of place, and the elements of shape, form and mark making.
BECKY BLAIR is a painter who draws inspiration from all corners of her experience, from her everyday observations to life's greatest challenges. She aspires to create imagery that has strength, but is equally fleeting and momentary; using colour, texture and composition to render physical certain aspects that in real life are intangible.
