About this event

The day will cover an introduction to autism and autism inclusive strategies, be able to understand the 8 sensory systems and how it can impact on a child's day and encourage participants to think about their own sensory processing. We use the Person, Environment Occupation model as a framework to support understanding through out the training. The afternoon session looks at a range of strategies for the school environment.

By the end of the day you will have the tools to write a Foundation Sensory Support plan in consultation with parents, for a child in your class or school with a set aim to support the child's wellbeing.

Open to any member of school staff across the Cheshire East and Cheshire West and Chester area.
