Spotting the signs of on line radicalisation: Zak
Ends on Tue, 25 Oct 2016, 13:00 BST
The product provides an innovative focus in the classroom that will promote discussion in PSHE or Citizenship on the topics of extremism, radicalisation and internet safety. “Zak” can be facilitated in different ways – groups of 3 or 4 around a computer, from a single whiteboard at the front of the class or possibility individually independent upon need, age or ability. It enables students to learn about grooming methods via social media using a “Facebook” style scenario. Feedback about the resource from teachers who attended training earlier this year has been very positive.
There is no charge to attend the session but if you book a place and your representative fails to attend you will be charged the cost of your place (i.e. £100)
