Will learning materials be provided?

Accepted Answer

Yes, when you purchase your ticket you will be sent a link to the learning materials. These are the sheet music for the two songs and the tracks for each part to listen to.

Where can I park?

There is plenty of local parking available either on the street or behind the church in the pay and display carpark.

Question 3

Do I need to bring lunch?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you may bring your own packed lunch or alternatively you can pop to one of the many local options on the high street.

Question 4

Will refreshments be provided?

Accepted Answer

We will provide tea and coffee and soft drinks, however if you have any specific requirements we will be happy to accommodate these with enough notice.

Question 5

What do I need to bring with me?

Please bring a copy of the music that you can make notes on - this can be a printed copy or a version on a tablet.  We recommend that you bring some water with you and comfy shoes as we stand to rehearse.

Who can attend?

Anyone over the age of 18!  We welcome all genders and experience levels to our education events.  Please contact us to discuss anyone under the age of 18 who wishes to attend. hello@malevoxchoir.co.uk

Do I need to be able to read music?

Accepted Answer

No - we provide you with the written music, but also learning tracks for all of our songs.  This means that you can listen and sing along with your part to learn at home.

Question 8

Do I have to learn the song at home before coming?

Accepted Answer

We are a choir who performs without written music and we get the best from rehearsals when we can concentrate on our Director.  This might be daunting, but it does become easier with time.  You will be able to have the sheet music with you at the rehearsals for making notes and to check your part.
