An uplifting introductory experience for women, whether you've practiced yoga before or not, into the transformational power and beauty of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Known as the Yoga of awareness for Householders - for people who have, families and busy lives. As such it offers specific and simple practices that work quickly and effectively to heal, strengthen, revitalize and elevate us in both body and mind, opening us to the experience of our soul and the truth of who we are, raising our consciousness and aligning our living more harmoniously with our hearts desires. From this we are able to build a greater foundation of strength, radiance and inner security on which to grow our most joyful and fulfilling life.

Our time together will give you..

- The foundations of the practice, so you feel confident to continue practicing whether at home or in a class.

- An understanding and practice of 3 of the most simple and powerful Kundalini practices for clearing your energies and elevating your inner experience of yourself and your outwardly perspective. These will consist of a sequence of warm-ups, purifying pranayama (breathing techniques), a dynamic kriya (sequential yogic exercises to generate a specific energetic effect), mantra (sound) mudra (hand positions) and meditation.

- We will also look at ways in which to weave and receive the benefits of this illuminating practice in your busy daily life.

All are welcome, whether you’ve practiced other forms of yoga, or this is your first time to yoga of any kind.

A yoga mat

A small sheepskin/faux fur rug if you have one
