About this event

Year Here’s Spring Crowdbacker 2022 is the launchpad for the UK’s next generation of game-changing social ventures.

Brought to you in collaboration with The Funding Network and NatWest, Spring Crowdbacker 2022 is your chance to meet the founders and help get their ventures off the ground as they make quickfire pitches for your financial support.

These new ventures will join Year Here’s existing portfolio of 45 ventures tackling pressing issues in areas such as climate change, the housing crisis and health inequality. Don’t miss your chance to meet the latest generation of ambitious new social entrepreneurs.

Ventures Pitching:

  • Kālā: Opening up access to private markets and allowing you to put your money where it matters.
  • Cimate Minded: Widens access for young people from vulnerable backgrounds to participate in the Green Economy by teaching them about climate literacy, green skills and green jobs.
  • Just Once: A paperless carers assessment that streamlines the process for Unpaid Carers to access support.
  • Mosaic: Create a little more life by gifting a unique piece of land for rewilding.
  • Soda: empowering young adults with lived experience of chronic illness and disability to transform the way services and products are accessibly designed.

About Year Here

In the last nine years, Year Here's alumni have launched 45 social ventures in fields as diverse as supporting ex-offenders, ethical fashion, homelessness and educational inequality.

They've been recognised as Shackleton Leaders, New Radicals by Nesta and The Observer. They've given TEDx talks and featured widely throughout the press - in The Financial Times, The Huffington Post, Vice, Dazed & Confused, The Independent and many more.
