Spring Dried Flower Wreath Workshop
Overview
Join Pollinator Petals at Bolton Percy Old School Hall to celebrate the joy of spring with a stunning spring wreath bursting with colour and texture. Enjoy a fun, creative workshop using locally grown dried flowers. All materials are provided and you can choose from a selection of of dried flowers to create your own unique wreath.
All ages welcome (under 18s to be accompanied by an adult). You do not need any experience as you will be guided through all parts of the workshop. A fun, welcoming workshop to enjoy on your own or with friends.
Tea, coffee and range of non-alcoholic drinks provided.
You will build a wreath from a sustainable, reusable base (approx base diameter 20-25cm). Once completed your wreath will measure approximatley 30-35cm in diameter.
Examples of dried flowers we may use:
- strawflowers
- statice
- larkspur
- lavender
- seed heads (e.g. poppies, nigella, honesty)
- grasses (e.g bunny tail, quaker grass)
- wheat and oats
- eucalyptus or other greenery
- sea holly
- gypsophelia
- gomphrea
- craspedia
- achillea
