I've never had ceremonial cacao before. Is it for me?

Cacao is a non psychoactive plant medicine and safe to consume in the right dose. There are some instances which could mean cacao may not be suitable for you as a full ceremonial dose. The amount can be adjusted and you are also encouraged to ask a medical practitioner if you have any concerns.

How should I prepare?

Please ensure you are hydrated and bring a bottle of water. Wear loose fitting clothes to allow yourself to fully relax. It is advisable to eat lightly before consuming cacao, unless you are pregnant. Avoid drinking caffeine 2 hours before arrival and refrain from drinking alcohol for 24 hours.

Can I take pictures?

Yes you can take photographs at the beginning and end of the event. Just check with other participants if they are in your shot. It is always appreciated that you tag @therisingspace when you share your content and / or reviews.

Where are you based?

In Walthamstow, London E17. We will be gathering at a private address for optimal comfort, cosiness and intimate journeying time. A home away from home.

What's the best way to get to you?

On street parking is free on weekends and after 6.30pm on weekdays.
Public transport: nearest tube is Blackhorse Road. 
Please allow 20 minutes to walk from the station. 
Buses 158 and W15 stop nearby.

What's your refund policy?

We cannot accept refunds or transfers to future events. However, you can transfer your ticket to a friend. Kindly notify your host of any changes.
