Spring Forage - Lancaster
Sat 13 May 2017, 12:00 – 16:00 BST
Explore the waterways, waysides and woodlands of the historic city of Lancaster with us as Spring begins to shift to Summer, we will check in with a seasonal soup and then discover what Wild Foods are around the city learning and gathering as we go. On the menu will be greens, flowers, buds, fruits, pollen, maybe some mushrooms and much more. We will then find a comfortable spot to identify and cook up any finds as well as sample the many Wild Food preserves I will bring along, there will be lots of chance to look through Wild Food books, ask questions and share your foraging stories. Everyone attending will get a Wild Food preserve and anything that we gather and don't eat on the walk.
Price: £25pp (Includes seasonal soup, samples & something to take home) - Children under 15: £10, under 5's free although the terrain is unsuitable for anything with wheels. Booking Essential.
