Join our Nature Walk and Social this Spring!

Come along and spend a couple of enjoyable hours with us. We'll start with an afternoon stroll around Nun and Middlethorpe Ings, exploring the riverside from the Millennium Bridge area. We'll then walk back to the Cyclist cafe at Cycle Heaven for a chat over refreshments.

This route is a real treat at this time of year - with the floods meadows bursting into yellow and white flower! And who knows, we may be lucky enough to meet the local riverside tansy beetle population?

You'll feel relaxed and energised by a lovely spring afternoon walk, and have a chance to meet and get to know like-minded people.

Practicalities

Meet at 2:30pm outside the entrance to Cycle Heaven in Fulford. We'll be there from 2:15pm. Look for the friendly people in purple York Bike Belles tops!

Please check the weather forecast beforehand and wear suitable clothing. Bring any personal medication, snacks and drinks you may need. There are toilets near the start point in Cycle Heaven. Cycle Heaven. Please do not attend if you are unwell.

Please note that the route has some uneven ground and a stile to climb over. Do come along to our regular Wednesday Walks if you would prefer a level and hard-surfaced route.

Please travel to the activity by walking, cycling or public transport if you can. All start points are easily accessible by foot, bike or bus. Check out York's Cycle Routes and Bus Information.
