Our Spurn Safari tour will take you on a memorable journey across this unique landscape aboard a specially adapted ex-military, 4x4 truck – the Unimog. You'll hear tales of the peninsula’s fascinating military and maritime history, expertly told by our knowledgeable and friendly guides.
The four-hour trip also includes a visit to the top of northern England’s tallest lighthouse.
Please note, this event is not suitable for children under 4 years of age. Children must be supervised by an adult throughout the event.
What to bring/wear
Dress for the weather (it can be very cold and exposed at Spurn, so bring plenty of layers!) and wear sturdy footwear.
Toilets and catering
There are toilets (including an accessible toilet) and a café at the Spurn Discovery Centre, serving both hot and cold food. There are also toilets at The Point.

Joining us on the day
Please meet at the Spurn Safari vehicle, located beside the road gate to the nature reserve (approx. 300 metres walk from Spurn Discovery Centre car park).
Parking
There is a £5 parking charge, which helps us to maintain the centre and look after the reserve. There is free parking for Wildlife Trust members who display their up-to-date membership card on their car dashboard.
