HOUR 1:

  • Understand Relational Database, ERD Diagram, Relationships, Primary and Foreign Keys. Discussing data types.

HOUR 2:

Creating Tables in SQL:

  • Table names,
  • Columns, datatypes.
  • Primary Key
  • Foreign Key
  • Identity / Auto-increments

Add Constraints:

  • Not Null
  • Unique
  • Default
  • Check

Hour 3:

  • Views, Indexes, and sequencing.
  • SQL Temporary Tables

Do I need software

It would be nice if you could code along on your own device with SQL already installed. If not, n this hour, you can sit back, relax and enjoy the demonstration.

Version SQL

We cover MS SQL Server in Azure Data Studio. If you have a different database, you will still learn the basics and may have to research some differences. Send us a request for your database, and we can host it as well in a different time slot.
