SQS Tech Team Cycle Challenge in aid of NSPCC NI
Sat 20 May 2017, 08:00 – 14:30 BST
After much anticipation, SQS Northern Ireland are proud to announce the 2017 “SQS Tech Team Cycle Challenge.”
This event follows on from the highly successful cycle challenge in June 2016 which saw a mighty 20 teams from the thriving software and technology sector in Northern Ireland taking on a gruelling 80km cycle.
This year, particpants can choose between 20km or 80km event routes, both starting in Larne, passing through the scenic villages of the Antrim Coast and Glens including Clough, Broughshane, Waterfoot and Cushendun while incorporating some challenging climbs and testing sprints.
Last years amazing partipicants collectively raised a total in excess of £34,000, well surpassing the £30,000 target. The money raised was in aid of the NSPCC NI, the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in Northern Ireland. The NSPCC NI work not only to help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, but protect those at risk and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.
This year’s event is gearing up to be another huge success, building on the strong foundations of 2016.
So don’t just talk the torque - register your interest and be involved in a memorable day for a fantastic cause.
