Square Lens Alliance: Women in Film

Square Lens Alliance would love you to join us for an evening celebrating Women in Film at Dean Clough Mills, Halifax.

We’ll be joined by three incredible speakers:

• Lois Tallulah – Filmmaker, presenter and founder of SHORTIES, who will share her journey and plans to bring this fast-growing platform supporting women in film to the North.

• Eleanor Hodson – Filmmaker, Intimacy Coordinator and Youth Engagement & Programme Coordinator at Leeds Young Film, who will talk about the importance of intimacy coordination, even in short films, and how it helps create safe and supportive sets.

• Safi Tobi – Filmmaker, presenting a screening of her award-winning short film Billie, followed by a Q&A about her creative process and the story behind the film.
