A series of photography talks held by final year students from BA Documentary Photography course at University of South Wales, Cardiff, UK.
This event is to raise money for our end of year graduation show. Therefore, there is a small fee for the event.
We will be doing a raffle with some great prizes including prints, Margaret Mitchell's 'Passage' photobook, and postcards made by the third year documentary photography students.

Margaret Mitchell is a Scottish documentary and portrait photographer whose work ranges from exploring communities and children’s worlds through to long-term documentation projects on environment, opportunity and social inequality.
Her photography explores the intricacies and complexities of people’s lives with a particular emphasis on place and belonging. Responsibility, dialogue and collaboration are key components in her approach.

Leia Ankers is a British documentary and portrait photographer. Leia's photographic interest lay in a curiosity of the unknown. Leia is drawn to uncovering locations and people that can be seen as normally inaccessible. Stories of beautiful lives were discovered in meeting the individuals, normally unseen by many in society, in her series The Same As You.
