The Telemedicine Support Unit/Single Point of Access (SPoA) referral forwarding service aims to improve efficiency of the referral pathway, provide feedback loops for community optometrists, and offer CPD-accredited educational sessions – all contributing to better patient care.
The SPoA have arranged an online lecture taking place on Wednesday 6th August from 6:30pm. The session will be delivered by Ms Bhavini Gohil (Orthoptist - Royal Free Hospital) and Ms Keyuri Thaker (Optometrist - Royal Free Hospital). The session will include orthoptic and optometric management of paediatric patients.
This talk will have GOC CPD accreditation for optometrists and dispensing opticians (1 point - interactive).
