Class Goal:
Deliver content to technicians to increase their service department revenue through additional offerings; suspension service, dropper service, brake bleeds, AXS installations and troubleshooting. STUdents will learn to complete these services in an efficient manner to a high standard and leave STU with the confidence to implement these services in their retail environment.
What the STUdent will take away:
50-hour front suspension service
Technicians will learn RockShox service of suspension lower legs, to implement suspension service into retail. Teaching all best practices for RockShox lower legs, including practice time of the service for best results at retail.
50-hour rear suspension service
- Technicians will learn RockShox service of rear suspension, to implement suspension service into retail. Teaching all best practices for RockShox air can service, including practice time of the service for best results at retail.
50 and 200 hour Reverb AXS seatpost service
Technicians will learn RockShox service of dropper seatpost, to implement dropper seatpost service into retail. Teaching all best practices for RockShox air can service, including practice time of the service for best results at retail.
Annual Brake bleed service on DOT brake systems
- Technicians will learn how to properly bleed a SRAM brake in a repeatable and efficient fashion, using the correct tools and fluid to deliver a high-quality profitable service at retail.
Full mount drivetrain setup and troubleshooting
- Technicians will learn the value of SRAM setup processes, pairing and app use, along with troubleshooting for AXS systems. Creating an expert technician for SRAM AXS product to support the retail environment.
SRAM Road AXS Install and Setup
- Technicians will learn proper installation of eTap AXS system, specifically focusing on proper front derailleur setup.
Understanding proper tool use and torque
- Technicians will continue their learning of proper tool use, the use of proper torque, and what happens if torque specification is not adhered to in services.

SRAM have a dedicated trainer for the UK who is very knowledgeable about the products, procedures as well as the UK market
The course will be a mix of theory work, demonstrations and practical hands on work. We have 6 work spaces so classes are relatively small so you get a high level of interaction with the trainer.
