24TH ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATION
The single greatest atrocity in Europe since the Second World War, resulting in the massacre of 8000 Bosnian men and boys.

Guest speakers include:
Ramiza Gurdić – Mother of Srebrenica
War survivor who lost her husband, and 2 sons along with 38 relatives. A member of the Association Movement of Mothers of Srebrenica and Zepa Enclaves, she campaigns for truth and justice.
Imam Mersad Krnjic
Originally from Bosnia, he is a member of the Bosnia UK Network, and is active in raising awareness about the Srebrenica genocide.
Hasan Nuhanović (via video)
Worked as an interpreter for UN troops during the war; in 2003 he brought a legal case against the Dutch government for its role in the massacre, which was successfully concluded in 2013. Author, The Last Refuge -- A True Story of War, Survival and Life Under Siege in Srebrenica.
Rabbi Herschel Gluck OBE
Chairman of the Arab-Jewish Forum and Chairman and founder of the Muslim-Jewish Forum; he has been commended in Parliament for his lifetime commitment to inter-communal understanding.
Dr Eric Gordy
Professor of Political and Cultural Sociology, University College
London; author of The Culture of Power in Serbia: Nationalism and the Destruction of Alternatives; and Guilt, Responsibility and Denial: The Past at Stake in Post-Milošević Serbia.
Margaret Minoletti
Former Dementia Care Advisor, NHS; visited Bosnia as part of ELM-Tower Hamlets Interfaith Forum delegation.
