A Day of Animal Welfare Research and Practice

About this Event

SRUC, The Jeanne Marchig International Centre for Animal Welfare Education at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies and BioResearch and Veterinary Services, University of Edinburgh are delighted to invite you to a day of talks, visits, exhibitions and discussion at Roslin Institute Building on 3rd October. The day will showcase some of the animal welfare research activities and practices in Edinburgh, and discuss some of the implications for animal welfare of research. The theme for the day is: Sentience and Animal Emotions. During the extended lunch break there will also be the possibility to learn more about our research through posters and hands on exhibits, and the opportunity to learn more about critical care and imaging capacity at the newly developed Large Animal Research and Imaging Facility at Easter Bush Campus. We hope to see you there!
