Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

SSN members have expressed the need to re-establish the SEAP club to bring officers together to share common experiences and best practice on Sustainable Energy Action Plans and/or wider influence climate change reporting. We will begin this meeting of the club with an update by each attendee on their current SEAP/wider influence climate change reporting and what they would like a SEAP club to achieve. This will be followed up by exploring ways of working and agreeing a possible way forward for the club.

Draft agenda:

9.30-10.00 - Arrival and refreshments

10.00-10.15 - Introductions and Background to Club

10.15-11.15 - Group discussion - each delegate should provide and update on:

  • Details on their involvement in SEAP to date
  • An update on area-wide emissions reporting in their local authority
  • What they would like to see from a SEAP Club

11.00-11.15 - Break

11.15-12.30 - Ways of working for a SEAP Club. Following the discussion in the morning:

  • Topics/ideas for future meetings
  • A run through of potential SEAP club knowledgehub group
  • Agree on ways of working: how best to run the club, how often and where

12.30-13.30 - Lunch and time to network further (room booked until 14:30)
