St Catherine’s Child “Softly stunning, mesmerising country-tinged indie” Holler

Join us for a special live performance by emerging artist Ilana Zsigmond, AKA as St Catherine’s Child, in the beautiful setting of The Bowes Museum.

Ilana will be performing songs from her powerful debut album, This Might Affect You, a deeply personal and moving collection that tells the story of losing her father. The album unfolds chronologically, with Side A capturing the lead-up to his passing and Side B reflecting on the aftermath and her path to healing.

Don’t miss this chance to experience an evocative evening of storytelling through song from one of the UK’s most exciting new voices and one of the rising stars of the Indie/Folk/American scene

Artist Bio

Born in England to musical parents, Ilana spent the majority of her childhood in New Haven, Connecticut, bouncing back and forth between continents as her parents toured. After settling back in the UK in 2015, she has formed a band that reflects the Americana aesthetic that surrounded her throughout her childhood with the articulation and dry-wit of her British sensibilities.

Named after the patron saint of eloquent women, her vocal strength and poetic songwriting shines at the heart of St. Catherine’s Child.
