The Edinburgh Music Competition Festival is held in March each year. It is open to all amateur musicians. Most of the performers are at school. (Please see their website www.ecfest.org.uk for details).This year the winners of recital classes are invited to play some of their pieces to make up tonight’s concert, offering an opportunity to showcase some of the best amateur musicians in the area. It will be a varied programme which promises to be most enjoyable.
