The event is designed for primary school-aged children, but younger and older siblings and the whole family are very welcome to join in the fun!

The event is free for all. Donations are welcome to help cover costs.

3. What should my child wear?

Accepted Answer

Children are welcome to dress up as their favourite characters. Other bright, fun, or light-themed clothing are encouraged too. We encourage avoiding scary or dark costumes, as this is a positive alternative celebration.

4. Will there be food and drinks?

Yes! There will be snacks and refreshments available. We will provide limited alternatives for those with common allergies, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee to cater for all dietary needs. If your child has specific allergies or requirements, please feel free to bring suitable snacks for them.

5. Do parents/guardians need to stay for the event?

Yes. All children under 18 must be accompanied by their parents/ guardians at all times.

6. Is the event religious?

Accepted Answer

The Light Party will include a short, family-friendly message about the theme of light from a Christian perspective towards the end of the evening, but everyone is welcome to attend and participate.
