The Christingle Service at 4pm on Christmas Eve at St Mary's Church is very much an institution in Newton. We don't need to tell people when it is, because they KNOW it will be 4pm on Christmas Eve come what may.

The 2020 service will have to be a little bit different. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we cannot safely accomodate the 150+ people that attend every year.

Fortunately, we have a plan! To allow for the lower numbers that can come into church, we will be having TWO services.

The first will be at 1pm on Christmas Eve, and the second at 4pm, and as an added bonus if you can't make either, the 4pm service will be streamed on Facebook Live, so you can join in from home.

Because we need to ensure that we keep to a safe number in Church, we are going to need people to book tickets in advance, but don't worry it is still free to come in.
