Overview

Online Evening Antenatal Classes, PART 1: Labour progress, stages and coping methods.

Dear Parents:

You can book here free ONLINE Evening antenatal classes for women under St. Thomas maternity care. The advice is to attend between 32 to 35 weeks gestation, but you can attend earlier if you think you could benefit from it.

Online Evening antenatal classes are split in two classes, two halves of 2 hours each, 17:30 till 19:30, on first two Wednesdays or last two Thursdays of the month, and they need to be booked separately. They are split in:

Part 1 : labour progress and stages and coping methods.

  • Labour progress and stages and when to come to hospital
  • Coping methods at home and in hospital

Part 2: breastfeeding and first days with your baby.

This is to book only Part 1. Once booked you will receive a Microsoft Teams meeting link one week before and again on the day before, along with some information on how to join.

Please, REMEMBER TO BOOK A TICKET FOR YOUR PARNTER TOO.

Some of our Midwifery Teams (eg. Tower, Chesnut..) provide their own antenatal classes, so, please, check with your team before booking here. Also, if you decide to take private classes, there is no need to double book here, and you'll free spaces for those who cannot afford them.

If you no longer need this class, please remember to cancel your ticket to free spaces for those unable to book.

Many Thanks.

Antenatal Education Team.
