St. Thomas's ONLINE Antenatal Classes - labour, breastfeeding and baby.

Dear Parents:

From 2023 St. Thomas's hospital is also offering Online Antenatal Classes for those who find them more suitable.

You can book here free antenatal classes for women under St. Thomas maternity care, to attend between 32 to 35 weeks gestation. Online antenatal classes are shorter, 9:30am - 1:30pm, as they have less and shorter breaks, but still include all workshops in one day:

Coping methods at home and in hospital

Breastfeeding: Baby's needs, colostrum and milk production, position and attachment.

First days with your baby.

Once booked you will receive a Microsoft Teams meeting link along some information on how to join, one week before and again on the day before.

We still recommend you to book a ticket for your birth partner too. These classes can admit up to 40 people, and even if online is still consider a quite large number.

Some of our Midwifery Teams (eg. Tower, Chesnut..)  provide their own antenatal classes, so, please, check with them before booking here. Also, if you decide to take private classes, there is no need to double book here, and you'll free spaces for those who cannot afford them.
