About this event
This FREE* online Learnathon is an introductory session for the SHACK 2022: Workforce Mobility Hackathon. The objective for the hackathon is to bring together developers wishing to devise, test, and develop solutions to improve the experience of staff in their employment journey from training through to employment, gaining access to locations and systems.
The Learnathon will provide background materials which will be available in advance on the INTEROpen YouTube channel. Live Master Classes will be delivered on the day covering key topics that will equip you for the Hackathon.
This event is for all those interested in learning about, testing, and developing the capabilities and tools that will enable staff to onboard, prove their credentials and move about easily across facilities and from job to job.

Whether you are a workforce system provider, technology provider, public sector or private company wishing to explore the use of wallets, verifiable credentials, and decentralised identity services to support staff movements; a public sector or industry professional curious to get involved and help steer the development and ensure the 'real-world' usefulness of software solutions to support the workforce; or a software developer keen to understand end-user needs, this event is for anyone wishing to explore how new technologies can be used to support more connected, efficient workforce movements, and generally make life easier for employees and administrators as staff move from one organisation to another.
PREPARATION
In keeping with INTEROPen values, all interested parties are invited to take part in planning calls via Zoom to help shape the scope and agenda for the hackathon, and to provide participants with the information to commence their hack plans.
