We are asking all staff & students to register for a timed entry slot in advance so that we can maintain social distancing, safely manage the numbers through our doors and ensure that everyone has an enjoyable day with us.
This ticket allows up to 6 people who are in a household or support bubble to look around our galleries on the first floor for one hour only. When booking, please enter in contact details for all members in your party and include your staff/student ID numbers.
You will also be asked to scan the NHS Track and Trace QR code upon entry to the VG&M.
What will be open?
The art galleries on the first floor will be open for you to enjoy. Please take a look at our exhibition page to find out which exhibitions will be open on your chosen date.
What will be closed?
At present, the Waterhouse Cafe, Tate Hall Museum and Leggate Lecture Theatre will be closed to the public, however we do have lots of exhibition information available on our website with digital tours and content for you to enjoy at home.
Although the café is closed, visitors can bring their own lunch and take a break during their visit in the ground floor seating area.
Your Visit
Please arrive at the entrance doors 5 minutes before your visit is due to start so that we can get you checked in at our Welcome Desk and go through our safety procedures. If you arrive more than 15 minutes later than your allocated start time, we will do our best to accommodate you but we cannot guarantee entry.
Entry to the Victoria Gallery and Museum remains free for all.
