Join us for an engaging IOSH Staffordshire Community half-day event featuring three fantastic topics: Coaching Skills for OSH Practitioners, Manual Handling: Discipline, Experience and a Different Perspective, and Supporting Employees and Reducing Work-Related Strain.

Delivered by expert speakers and presenters and also a great opportunity to engage with other Community members and IOSH Staffordshire Committee during the networking time and lunch.

12.00-13.00pm: Arrival (free parking available) and lunch

13.00-14.00pm: Be the best you can be – coaching skills for OSH practitioners by Michael Emery. We will explore: What is coaching?; What are the attributes of a good coach?; The Coaching Practitioner Model; Making the transition, developing a coaching style.

14.15-15.15pm: Manual Handling: Discipline, Experience and a Different Perspective, Harold Floyd is a Lead Instructor at Elite Force Safety, a training provider known for delivering high impact, military inspired health and safety training. Harold brings a unique approach to manual handling and workplace safety.

15.30-16.30pm: The Body Fix Coach - James Bacon recognises the demands of modern workplaces and developed Business Workshops aimed at supporting employees and reducing work-related strain. These sessions are designed to: reduce musculoskeletal-related absences, which are one of the leading causes of workplace sick days; improve employee wellbeing through practical movement strategies and ergonomic advice; increase productivity and energy levels, helping staff to stay focused and engaged throughout the day.

16.30-17.00pm: Networking & Close
