Do you lead Art, Dance or Drama in your school?


Would you like support with developing your curriculum intent and implementation?


Who is it for?

Teachers of Art, Dance and Drama from Primary and Secondary schools, artists and arts & cultural organisations.

What is STARTS?

Staffordshire Teachers ARTS Network is aiming to deliver quality ARTS focussed CPD in partnership with Primary and Secondary teachers, artists and arts organisations across the region.

interested in creative education and the arts? then...this is for you also come along and network with teachers and schools in the local area.

and take part in this FREE focussed ARTS mapping CPD session looking at the role of the arts in a broad and balanced curriculum.

This event will provide the space to bring together creative and education
practitioners to celebrate, share and learn, with our guest speakers:

Johanne Clifton, Executive Principal at Billesley Primary School in Birmingham, National Leader of Education and Assistant Director School Improvement BEP and Andrew Shaw, CEO of the Talentum Learning Trust based in Staffordshire.

The OFSTED Inspection handbook from September 2019 has placed a greater focus on the quality of the curriculum. The new quality of education judgement will focus on the overall intention, implementation and impact on children’s learning and progress.


Refreshments will be provided.

This event is delivered in partnership with Stoke and North Staffordshire CEP and Cannock Chase CEP and generously supported by Arts Connect West Midlands
