About this Event
The aim of this online session is to support experienced supervisors by helping them to update or refresh their knowledge and skills. The workshop will give supervisors an overview of regulatory and system changes in our research degree provision. - Encourage participants to evaluate their research supervision practices in the context of current scholarship and debate about doctoral education;
- Share expertise and identify measures for creating a productive and supportive supervisory practice within their areas.
Who might attend?
The workshop is for anyone who wants to know about changes to regulations, to better understand how to support timely PhD completions, or to motivate and support doctoral researchers in a climate of shifting expectations and increasing litigation.
Joining instructions for the workshop will be sent to participants 24 hours in advance.
