About this event

Join industry fight director and action coordinator Keith Wallis for this two-day intensive course in unarmed combat for stage and screen. This course will provide you with a wide range of fundamental techniques, from pushes, grabs and throws, to slap and punch variations, knees, kicks, blocks, locks, falls and more.

Stage and screen combat is an essential technique for actors, turning staged fights into powerful storytelling moments. This course gives students the chance to build confidence, sharpen their physical control, and train in industry-standard fight choreography used in professional theatre and film.

Those who successfully complete the course in full will attain a Master at Arms Spotlight-recognised certification in Introduction to Unarmed Combat for Stage & Screen. Participants should bring with them suitable loose clothing for movement/fight work and a pair of trainers.
