Under the expert guidance of artist Kirsty Brooks, you will be introduced to the beautiful, traditional techniques of the craft. Through clear group demonstrations and supportive one-to-one tutoring, you will learn the foundational skills of:
- Glass Cutting: How to score and break glass with confidence.
- Leading & Soldering: The art of joining your pieces with lead and solder to create a lasting panel.
- Design & Colour: Exploring the stunning interplay of light, texture, and colour.
This course is designed for complete beginners, requiring no prior experience. With no prior experience required, selection of textured and coloured glass for you to choose from.
At the end of your creative journey, you will take home a beautiful, self-made hanging panel (with 3-4 pieces), ready to catch the light in your home or to be given as a truly unique gift.

Kirsty Brooks is a professional artist with a deep-rooted passion for glass. Initially trained in stained glass, her work explores texture, translucency, and a sense of place. With over twelve years of experience teaching stained glass in London and two decades of workshop leadership, Kirsty specialises in making creative skills accessible and fun through a spirit of play and discovery.
