Stained Glass Taster Day with Jenny Newall
All-day workshop | 10-4pm Sunday 27 November
Only 10 spaces available
Students must be over 16 years
Design and make your own stained glass decoration using the Tiffany-style method with practising stained glass artist Jenny Newall in our Stained Glass Taster Day.
This is a fun-filled day where you'll get a hands-on lesson in the art of stained glass making from a talented stained glass artist. Over the day, you'll be shown different stained glass techniques and gain an understanding of the art form.
You'll make your very own stained glass suncatcher or festive decoration to 'deck the halls' this Christmas or give as a gift to a loved one.
The workshop will take place in the new markerspace at Roco, and we have allowed an hour for lunch to give you chance to explore and see all the amazing designers and makers selling their beautiful wares at the Weekend of the Maker Crafty Fox Market and maybe even try out one of the drop-in workshops going on over the weekend.
Plus if you're around the night before, we’ll be getting together for an evening social on Saturday 26 November, introduced by founder of folksy.com James Boardwell, where you’ll have a chance to mingle with other makers. We're predicting festive fun and good times.
