2 day Weekend Workshop

This course is for:

The course is suitable for beginners who are interested in learning basic skills in stained glass and those with some previous experience. The course will provide an opportunity to learn and develop your stained glass skills and techniques in a friendly, sociable environment.

The course will cover:

You will be shown how to use the tools and materials to design and make your own one-off piece of stained glass.

No prior experience is necessary.

This is a classroom based course which will provide an opportunity to develop your stained glass making

skills in a friendly, sociable environment.

You will be given the support you require for your individual development.

There are no exams or formal assessments.

There will be chance to ask questions and put what you have learned into practice.

Your tutor will give you feedback during the course and you will be able to self-assess.

Work outside of sessions:

This is not required, though we hope you will want to put what you have learned into practice.

Additional costs and what to prepare:

The course tuition is offered free of charge but there will be a small charge for materials of £10. A member of staff will be in touch about payment shortly before the course start date.

You may wish to wear an apron or old clothes or other protective clothing are advisable.

Reading glasses if you need them for close work.
