This is a 3 hour workshop
This practical workshop is a perfect introduction to stained glass work. Ideal for beginners, those wishing to refresh their knowledge or for those seeking an opportunity to create a new piece of work.
You will be shown how to cut small pieces of glass confidently, use a grinder to achieve different shapes, then wrap craft wire around glass and trinkets to create a decorative pendant.
Pendants, beads and other items of choice can then be attached to one another using jump rings. These form a chain, to be attached to the hooks on drift wood.
And voilà... you have a beautiful wind chime.
All tools and equipment are provided, but feel free to bring any beads, dismantled jewelry, glass, marbles, stones or trinkets you wish to incorporate in your design.
A fantastic stand alone workshop but also a perfect foundation for those wishing to return and develop their skills and confidence, on one of our longer stained glass courses where you will learn further techniques and produce a bigger piece of work.
