Does my child qualify for a free place?

Children who are entitled to benefit-related Free School Meals and have a Unique Reference Number (URN) can access this camp for free.

Question 2

My child does not qualify for a discounted place, can they still attend?

Accepted Answer

Of course, however, there is a charge of £10.00 a day to help us sustain our camps, cover staffing costs and ensure that camps are accessible for all children.

Question 3

What can my child expect during Fusion Camps?

Accepted Answer

A bucket load of activities, every school holiday. With great value sports, creative arts, and games to enjoy each half-term, we have plenty for your children to get stuck into in the school break! A more detailed agenda will be added to our website closer to the time of the camps commencing.

Question 4

What does my child need to bring to camp?

Accepted Answer

Please provide your children with a packed lunch (if on a paying ticket), a refillable water bottle and any further snacks or refreshments that they may require. Please ensure that your child is dressed in clothing suitable for sporting activities.

Question 5

My child has allergies or other requirements, how do I let Active Fusion know about this?

Accepted Answer

When completing the booking form, you will be asked to complete a participant form on behalf of your child where you will be prompted to provide details on allergies, dietary requirements, special educational needs and any other requirements unique to them.

Question 6

Is my child allowed to bring their mobile phone to Fusion Camp?

Accepted Answer

Your child is allowed to bring their mobile to camp but we ask that they are switched off and put away during camp hours. This not only provides a safe environment for all attendees but also ensures that your child fully benefits from all that Fusion Camp has to offer.

Question 7

My child is ill, can I still bring them to Fusion Camp?

Accepted Answer

If your child is ill we politely request that you do not bring them to Fusion Camp. This will give them time to rest and recover and will help protect the other children at our camps as well as our staff.

Question 8

My child arrived late to camp and the door is locked. How do we access the building?

Accepted Answer

All of our camp venues are secured 15 minutes after the camp start time to provide a secure environment for all participants. If you arrive late to camp and cannot access the building then please contact our office on 01302 637276 who will notify the relevant camp lead.

Question 9

Where can I find my Unique Reference Number?

Accepted Answer

If your child is eligible for a discounted place at this camp then you will have received a letter from Doncaster Council dated 31st May 2024 with this number attached. If your child is eligible for free school meals but you cannot locate your URN, please contact Doncaster Council.

The safety and well-being of all participants is our highest priority. In the unlikely event of a serious safeguarding concern, please contact our safeguarding team directly at 07352092982. This number is strictly for safeguarding matters, please do not use it for general enquiries.
